Creating a Series

A Series is a collection of related videos centered on a specific theme. For example, you could create a Series called “Interesting Stories” and a new video will be generated daily or every other day, depending on the purchased plan.

Series creation is fully automated: BigMotion writes the script, adds captions, generates visuals, selects music, and edits the video. If auto-posting is enabled, each video is published automatically to your connected social media accounts. You can also download and upload videos manually.

A Series follows the schedule you set and creates videos one at a time. To pause a Series or switch to a different topic, archive the current Series and create a new one.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Sign in to your BigMotion account at https://app.bigmotion.ai/.
2. Select “New Series” from the left-hand menu.
3. Choose a topic for your Series.

   If none of the preset topics fits your niche, select “Custom Topic.” Describe the topic and review the sample script before continuing. Learn more on how to write custom topics here.

4. Select the language, narration voice, and background music. You can listen to voice samples before choosing. Leave the music field blank if you prefer not to use background music.
5. Choose a visual style. The selected style will be applied to every video in the Series.
6. Choose an on-screen caption style, or select “No captions”.
7. Enter or update the Series name to make it easier to find.
8. Set your preferred video duration.
9. Select the connected social media accounts where you want videos to be auto-posted: YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok. If an account is not connected, you will be guided through the connection process first.

Click “Generate and publish videos” to finish. Your first video will be generated and published right away, and future videos will follow your schedule. View your Series and published videos in the dashboard: https://app.bigmotion.ai/series/videos.

Auto-Posting Guidelines

• We recommend warming up a new TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube account before using BigMotion.ai or another automated posting tool. This can also help an existing account if you are changing its content focus or have not posted for some time. Learn more: https://app.bigmotion.ai/guides/account-warm-up.
• For YouTube and TikTok, select the appropriate video visibility setting:
  Public: Anyone can view the video.
  Private: Visibility is restricted to invited viewers.
  Unlisted: Anyone with the link can view and share the video.

Managing Your Series

To change the topic, archive the current Series and create a new one:

1. Open your Series dashboard: https://app.bigmotion.ai/series/videos.
2. Select your current Series.
3. Click “Archive”.
4. Create a new Series at https://app.bigmotion.ai/series/create.

💡 Series videos are generated using credits. When you create a Series, credits for the full batch are reserved. Any unused reserved credits are released when the Series is archived.
