Create a Series
Open New Series in the sidebar, or go to app.bigmotion.ai/series/create. Setup has 8 steps. Every step except the niche has a sensible default, so you can move fast and fine-tune later.
Press Continue to go to the next step and Back to return.
Step 1: Choose your niche
The niche is what your channel is about. You have two ways to set it:
- Presets: ready-made niches such as fun facts, bedtime stories or motivational stories. Picking the Cartoon preset limits the next steps to cartoon-friendly styles, voices and music.
- Custom: describe your own niche, in a few words or a whole paragraph (up to 2,000 characters). You can also paste an Example script (up to 5,000 characters), and the AI will match its style and tone.
A good custom niche says who the videos are for and what they cover, for example “Surprising facts about the ocean for curious teenagers, upbeat tone”.
Step 2: Language & Voice
Pick the language of your videos, then a narrator. Each voice has a preview button. The voice always matches the language you chose.
Step 3: Music
Pick a background track. You can preview each one.
Step 4: Visual style
Pick the look of the pictures. It applies to every video in the Series.
Step 5: Caption Style
Pick how the on-screen captions look.
Step 6: Automatic Publishing
Choose where finished videos are posted: TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Only accounts already connected to BigMotion can be turned on. The others show “After setup”: connect them in the app, then turn them on in the Series settings. See Auto-posting.
You can skip this step. Your videos then wait in the app for you to download.
Step 7: Series Details
- Series name: optional. If you leave it empty, the niche name is used.
- Video Duration: 30–40 seconds or 60–70 seconds (the default). The longer option is marked “Monetizable” for TikTok.
Step 8: Animation
- Animate the opening scene (the default): only the first scene moves, the rest stay as illustrations. Faster and cheaper.
- Animate every scene: every scene becomes a moving clip with ambient sound. The richest result, and it takes longer.
- No animation: a slideshow with overlay effects and smooth transitions. Costs no Sparks.
Each option shows its Sparks price per video and your balance. If you don’t have enough Sparks, the app offers to get more or to switch to the opening-scene option. See Animation for the details.
Generate
Press Generate and publish videos. You don’t choose how many videos to make: the Series gets the monthly number from your plan.
If all your Series are already in use, the app offers an extra Series or a bigger plan. Archiving an old Series also frees one up.
What happens next
- The Series page opens and the first video starts generating right away. It’s usually ready in about 5 minutes.
- The rest of this month’s videos are spread evenly until the month ends. A Series started mid-month gets a share for the days left.
- Videos are posted to the accounts you turned on.
What you can’t change later
Animation and video duration are fixed once the Series is created. Name, language, posting, voice, music and captions can be changed in the Series settings (see Manage a Series). For a different niche or visual style, archive the Series and create a new one.
Let an AI assistant do it
If you’ve connected an AI assistant, you can just say “start a Series about space facts for TikTok”. It picks the settings, tells you what it chose and the Sparks cost, and creates the Series. See Connect an AI assistant.
